PEER MENTOR PROGRAM
Peer mentors are Action Group members who have committed to living a sober lifestyle and serve as role models for other teens. They co-facilitate all Natural Highs Workshops, community presentations, and Natural Highs Community Nights. Each peer mentor gets supervised and receives individual feedback in order to develop their leadership and group facilitation skills.

Peer mentors are encouraged to pursue their own passions, to research and teach particular topics in Natural Highs Workshops and classes. Current peer mentors have co-created and co-facilitated the class on “Love, Sex and Drugs” for groups of 40 high school students in our drop-in program.

Peer mentors are pursuing their interests in researching particular drugs and specific healthy alternatives and have become “experts” in certain topics.
